These caps will monitor real-time collateral utilization for each coin on the platform. The implementation aims to prevent excessive risk-taking and ensure that users maintain healthy collateral levels while managing their crypto assets. How Will This Affect You? Beginning at 8 AM UTC on June 2, if the utilization rate of a particular coin reaches its set limit, you'll see an alert icon next to that asset in your account, accompanied by a warning notification. This proactive approach is designed to keep you informed and ready to take necessary action. What Happens When a Coin Reaches 100% Utilization? When a coin’s utilization hits 100%, several restrictions will kick in: For both Crypto and Institutional Loans, you will not be able to add that coin as new collateral. For UTA transfers, if the affected coin is already collateral, you cannot transfer it into your UTA. You cannot toggle the affected coin to be used as collateral within your UTA settings. Switching margin modes in UTA is restricted; you cannot change from Isolated Margin to Cross or Portfolio Margin if the affected coin is collateral. How to Manage Your Risk Effectively?
